About

Two organisations. One division of labour.

UAYDF is co-convened by Moments LLC and the Gulf Africa Investment Nexus. The pairing has genuine logic rather than two logos on a page.

01The organisers

Moments LLC

Convening, programme and platform

Moments convenes and delivers the Forum, owns the programme architecture and runs the post-Forum engine — participant selection, Collaboration Labs, the Fellows network and the annual Impact Report.

Gulf Africa Investment Nexus

Capital, markets and enterprise connectivity

GAIN brings Gulf–Africa enterprise connectivity: investment ecosystems, market access, cross-border partnerships, entrepreneurship and business networks. Its natural contribution sits in Pillar 02, Enterprise.

GAIN builds the commercial corridor. UAYDF builds the human one.

02Governance

Structures with decision rights, not letterheads.

01

Co-Conveners

Moments LLC and GAIN, under a signed memorandum of understanding specifying decision rights, financial split, intellectual property, brand ownership, liability and dispute resolution.

02

Steering Committee

Senior representatives of the convening organisations and selected strategic partners. Holds strategic direction and accountability.

03

Youth Advisory Council

8–10 young leaders with genuine influence over programme design, not consultation theatre. Meets three times before the Forum.

04

Institutional Advisory Council

7–9 senior figures across business, academia, development, government and civil society, balanced between the UAE and Africa.

05

Secretariat

The professional delivery team: programme, participant operations, partner management and the post-Forum engine.

Council membership is announced in tranches once appointments are confirmed. No name appears on this site before it is confirmed.

03Safeguarding and compliance

Duty of care, in writing.

No institutional partner signs without these, and no participant should have to ask for them.

  • Age policy

All participants 18 or over. Edition One does not include under-18 participation.

  • Code of Conduct

  • Media and image consent

Explicit, opt-in, and a separate checkbox from registration. Never bundled.

Public liability, event cancellation and participant travel cover.

  • Medical and emergency
