This site is operated by Moments LLC in its capacity as co-convener of the UAE–Africa Youth Development Forum, together with the Gulf Africa Investment Nexus.

02Accuracy of published information
Every statistic on this site carries its source, and sources are maintained in an annex with URLs and access dates available to institutional partners on request.
Programme details, dates and participation numbers for Edition One are stated as planned and may change. Dates are confirmed only once the venue is contracted, and material changes are published here.
No speaker, partner or institutional relationship appears on this site before it is confirmed in writing by the party concerned.
03Applications and selection
Submitting an application does not create an entitlement to a place. Selection is discretionary, made against the published criteria, and the decision of the selection panel is final.
You confirm that the information in your application is true. Material misrepresentation is grounds for withdrawal of a place at any time, including during the Forum.
Where a place is offered, it is personal to you and may not be transferred.
04Travel, visas and costs
Invitation letters for visa purposes are issued by the UAE entity of record. UAYDF supports the visa process but cannot guarantee the outcome of any visa application, which rests with the UAE authorities.
Where travel or accommodation support is offered it is stated explicitly in your offer. Costs not stated there remain your responsibility.
05Intellectual property
The UAYDF name, marks, lockups and the convergence motif are the property of the co-conveners. Brand assets on the press page may be used for editorial coverage of the Forum, unaltered and as supplied.
You retain ownership of the material you submit. By submitting it you grant us a licence to use it for selection, programme composition and, where you have consented, communications.
Collaboration Lab outputs are published as part of the Dubai Commitment with attribution to the team that produced them. Underlying intellectual property brought into a Lab remains with its owner.
06Conduct and access
Participation is conditional on agreement to the Code of Conduct. Access may be withdrawn for breach, as set out there.
We may suspend or withdraw access to this site at any time, and we may amend these terms. The current version is always the one published here.
07Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law. Subject to that, the co-conveners are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this site or attendance at the Forum.
Participants are responsible for their own insurance. The Forum carries public liability, cancellation and participant travel cover as set out on the About page.
08Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
